Welcome to thought leadership

By Pam Rak

Ken Barlow, son of Liz Barlow, Sr. Director of Quality, is biking across America this summer for a very good cause. He and 13 other fraternity brothers from Western Kentucky University are headed 3,600 miles over the course of 10 weeks to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association. Their journey started May 17 in San Francisco and will end on July 20 in Virginia Beach.

Bike4Alz was established 7 years ago when a fraternity brother (Phi Gamma Delta) had a Grandfather pass away from Alzheimer’s. Since then, they have raised awareness and donations for the disease. Their goal is to raise $70,000 this summer.

You can Dedicate a Day and have the team ride in honor of a loved one. The team posts videos in honor of who they are riding for that day. Kindred Healthcare is a sponsor for this group of young men.
