Outpatient Rehabilitation Program Services
Our outpatient rehabilitation programs complement hospitals’ workers’ compensation and occupational medicine initiatives and provide treatment for patients from any setting.
We deliver enhanced productivity and program performance through our scheduling, protocol development and program management systems, as well as through productivity training for existing staff. A streamlined appointment and registration process minimizes “no shows" and cancellations.
A typical outpatient unit is staffed by a Program Director, Community Relations Coordinator (CRC), four to six therapists and two to four administrative and clerical staff.
Patient referrals are managed through a formal community relations plan aimed at members of the community and physicians. The CRC establishes relationships with staff and area physicians and conducts an ongoing series of community education events. Specialized programs (e.g. sports medicine, women’s health) are developed based on market needs and niche opportunities.
