Homeward Bound Program
The Homeward Bound program is designed for patients to practice activities of daily living, mobility in a home, and cooking or housekeeping tasks as necessary. The therapy staff also addresses transferring in and out of a car, walking on uneven surfaces outside in the community, handling finances, and other tasks depending on the specific needs of the patient.
Stroke / Neuro Programs
It is essential that a patient who has suffered a stroke or neurological injury/ impairment receive rehabilitation in a hospital that combines an excellent, specialized team with state of the art equipment. It is through this combination of caring, advanced training and technology that a patient has the best chance to optimize their recovery and return to independence.

In pursuit of ongoing excellence in stroke / neurological rehabilitation the hospital was awarded a Three-Year Accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for their Inpatient Rehabilitation Program – Stroke Specialty.
