President and chief executive officer since June 2003 and a director since 1991. Dr. Short formerly served as managing partner of Phase 2 Consulting, a management and economic consulting firm for the healthcare industry.

Colleen Conway-Welch, Ph.D., R.N.

Director since September 2000. Dr. Conway-Welch serves as the dean and a professor at Vanderbilt University’s School of Nursing.

Director since July 2007.  Mr. Hjelm is Chief Information Officer for The Kroger Company.
