RehabCare is one of the few rehab companies that continues to invest in a clinical operations team. Our goal is to provide quality patient treatments supported by evidence-based practice through skilled clinicians.
RehabCare has Regional Education and Compliance Coordinators who provide clinical support and education for clinicians in a specific region of the country. These coordinators are trained in a variety of program areas and can assist in program development, case load development/management, documentation training and reviews, MDS education, Part B caseload development and case mix development, areas among many others. The coordinators are the point persons for all educational needs and program support.
Our national specialists in Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy focus on discipline-specific issues and concerns. Areas of support include quarterly welcome calls, licensure/certification issues, discipline “hot topics,” new technology training/education, and maintenance of appropriate CPT and ICD codes, educational development and individual therapist mentoring when indicated.
RehabCare provides rehab services in a variety of settings including skilled nursing centers, long-term acute care hospitals, home health and hospice locations, inpatient rehab facilities and continuing care retirement communities and outpatient facilities. Patient and family education is an integral part of our therapy intervention, helping patients understand not only the disease process but also service delivery in our various settings. With RehabCare a patient may transition from one setting to the next but still remain with the same rehab provider. Being familiar with the therapy provided and the types of expected interventions helps the patients and families to be more comfortable in each transition as they occur.
